Recently, Tyheng’s KR90A small rotating drilling rig participated in the construction of a commercial housing development project in JiangYin city, JiangSu province. The project requires reformative construction to be built on the foundation of existing residential building. The surface has 40cm thick of cement ground, under the cement is the 12M long cut-off wall constructed using three axis mixing equipment, under the wall contains dirt and sand, it is deemed as a fragile stratum. The construction demands the removal of surface dirt and diaphragm wall without excavation construction. The new pile hole is required to be drilled through the concrete floor and Impermeable wall, and into the fragile stratum. The total depth of the pile hole is 18m with a diameter of 700mm. Tyheng’s KR90A with its strong power, managed to clear the obstruction caused by the cement floor and Impermeable wall while using the “mud protection wall” drilling construction technology to overcome the difficulties of small and limited working space, sufficiently demonstrated the advantages of “compact machinery, powerful engine”; It has smoothly completed the construction task, reduced cost of constructions for customers, shortened the construction period, and won excellent and consistent appraisals from the customers.

TYSIM’s KR90A rotary drilling rig has engine power of 86kw with a total weight of 25 tons, it can perform drilling diameter of 400-1200mm to reach a max drilling depth of 28m. The rig utilizes a weight-minimized design, under the same construction conditions, its light weight results in less power consumption allowing the engine to better support the drilling construction for having no need to support the heavy weight of the machinery itself. Meanwhile, the drill pipe is also light weight, the raising and lowering speed of it can reach 75 m/min while maintaining the same safeness, the rig rotary speed can reach 5r/min. The rotary speed of the power head is 8-30r/min. Apart from the low fuel consumption design, the rig has a fast dirt-dumping speed to result in higher overall construction efficiency.
