Lately, TYHEN Foundation’s low headroom KR300ES entered the Guangxi market and participated in the construction of Guangxi Liugong Structural stress test bed foundation construction project. The construction area is 451.27m², and the total cost is more than 4 million. The construction unit of the project is Guangxi Liugong, and the general contractor is Guangxi Construction Engineering Group Second Installation Construction Co.,Ltd.

The project was inside a workshop with a height limit of 12.5m and a narrow construction space. The diameter of hole is 700mm and the hole depth is about 31-34m. Its geological composition mainly includes backfill soil, silty clay, medium weathering and slightly weathered limestone. There are caves of various sizes underground in the 17 - 23 meter area. At the 23 meter mark there was a slightly weathered limestone layer. The complexity of the stratum made construction extremely difficult, especially drilling through the cave, backfilling, and re-entering into rock, it really challenges the stability and reliability of the drilling rig, as well as the operator’s judgement. With the full support of TYHEN foundation engineering experts, the piles were successfully formed, and have won over unanimous praises from the owner and main contractor. With the continuous development of the Urbanization in China, demands for subway construction lines are increasing; viaducts are also playing a significantly more important role in urban three-dimensional rail transit. Tysim independently developed the KR300ES low headroom rotary drilling rig as the technical solution to respond to the different needs of customers accordingly, with considerations of the construction conditions within buildings, large tunnels, and under the Bridges, high-voltage lines and other environments.
