Recently, Tyheng mobilized 4 sets of KR300ES low headroom rotary drilling rigs for the construction of HangZhou-WenZhou high-speed railway, and their excellent performance have won unanimous praise from the site manager and the general contractor.The construction project of Tyheng is the 8th section of HangZhou-WenZhou Railway, from TongLu County of HangZhou to YiWu city via PuJiang County of JinHua city, with a total length of 28.67 km. The main projects include 1.221 km of roadbed, 12 Bridges, including 14 continuous beams, 1 beam storage yard, 246 holes of frame box girder, 12 tunnels, and 58.286 km of ballast-less road bed.120.141 km of new track were laid. The main difficulty lies in the complex geological conditions. During the construction process, it is required that the railway in operation next to it cannot be disturbed; the construction height cannot exceed 11 meters, and the ground cannot be affected during the construction process, which requires high technical proficiency.The construction site that KR300ES low headroom rotary drilling rig supported in TongLu County and YiWu, HangZhou, had piles with diameters of 1800mm, 1500mm, 1200mm and 1000mm in total, and the pile depth is between 13 and 21 meters. The geological conditions are complicated: it mainly consisted of miscellaneous fill soil (mainly backfill formation, with large construction waste particles), silty clay, silty sand (3-6 meters, easy to collapse hole), round gravel layer, strongly weathered and medium weathered siltstone. KR300ES (height 10.9 meters) operated at a construction height of 11 meters, it is equipped with a 300kn.m large torque power head, coupled with the deployment of appropriate proportion of mud for wall protection, it perfectly resolved the quicksand formation construction problem. Meanwhile, KR300ES is equipped with strong power to improve the construction efficiency of rock entry, perfectly fits the construction requirement of small operation space, large pile diameter, with the capability of reaching deep depth and performing rock-entry while meeting other requirements. Construction was fast, efficient and profitable for customers, which won unanimous praise from construction site personnel.

After five years of experience, commitment, cooperating with customers and also independent construction works, our small rotary drilling rigs had participated in relatively modern constructions such as dam-reinforcement, underground pipe gallery, and over-water construction, which ultimately contributed towards the domestic promotion of the utilization of small rotary drilling rigs.
