With the recovery of the cultural and tourism industry in Southeast Asia, the expansion project of Sheraton Nai Harn Beach Resort in Phuket, Thailand has officially started. As a key local project, it requires the construction of 3,000 piles with a diameter of 500mm, a pile depth of 8 meters (including 1 meter of hard rock stratum), and a construction period of only 7 months. Facing the dual pressures of "tight construction period + hard geological conditions", the KR90A and KR125A rotary drilling rigs of Jiangsu TYSIM Piling Equipment Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "TYSIM") have delivered a satisfactory performance.

Efficiency Leadership: 40% Faster Hard Rock Drilling, Patented Technology Solves Difficulties

For the 1-meter hard rock stratum, the core patented technologies of TYSIM's KR series equipment have played a key role. On-site data shows that the equipment, equipped with customized hard rock drilling tools and high-pressure hydraulic systems, achieves a hard rock drilling speed of 1.4 meters per hour — a 40% increase in efficiency compared with conventional equipment in the Thai market. A single unit completes 18-20 piles per day on average.​"Hard rock construction was once our biggest concern, but the stability of TYSIM's equipment has far exceeded our expectations," admitted the project construction supervisor. He added that the equipment has achieved over 500 hours of trouble-free operation, ensuring the construction period stays on track.

Local Collaboration: With Authorized Distributors, Build Real-Time Response Service Network

The efficient operation of TYSIM's equipment benefits from in-depth collaboration with local authorized distributors in Thailand. It is understood that prior to the project launch, the two parties jointly conducted geological surveys, optimized the equipment's heat dissipation systems for Thailand's tropical climate, and adapted the equipment to local fuel types. During the construction phase, the distributors established an on-site service team, equipped with original TYSIM spare parts and three senior technicians, achieving a "1-hour response and 4-hour fault resolution" standard.​This "Chinese R&D + local service" model is precisely the core logic behind TYSIM's equipment gaining a firm foothold in the Southeast Asian market — its products have been exported in bulk to many countries in the region, and its local service network is becoming increasingly mature.
