On December 26, 2024, according to the Turkish newspaper "AYDINLIK", the Turkish Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure is actively promoting the Ankara-Istanbul super-high-speed train project. The project is 344 kilometers long and will extend through Ankara-Beypazari-Narlihan-Akyazi to Adapazari and Kocaeli, and finally reach Söğütlüçeşme-Istanbul.
